Giving back locally...

With her head in her hands, she explained, "No one has ever cared about us. There is so much bad in this world, and you have shown me there are good people that care."

- a grandmother, raising her 6-year-old grandson after losing his mother unexpectedly to heart disease

Last year, the local Good SAM Christmas Families program served approximately 25 families (and 100 children!) by providing more than 1,000 items of new clothing, toys, furniture and needed household items with the help of the giving hearts of Northwest Arkansas area residents.

This year, the Northwest Arkansas Center for Plastic Surgery & Skin Care is joining the effort, and inviting you to help us make a difference!

We're serving as Santa to the Brown Family—Kathryn, Age 5, Paul, Age 8, Timothy, Age 9, Kaitlyn, Age 16, and Mom—raising the family by herself and with a medical condition.

If you feel compelled to contribute, you are welcome to bring any item(s) listed unwrapped to our office by 12 p.m. on December 6. The wonderful folks at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville wraps all the gifts and makes sure each family receives them in plenty of time for Christmas!
